Ground Magnetic survey

► The magnetic survey is based on mapping local variations in the Earth’s magnetic field caused by sub-surface magnetic materials, which range from naturally occurring magnetic minerals to man-made ferrous objects.
► We own and operate Geometrics G859 Cesium vapour magnetometers for onshore applications ranging from regional geological trends or mineralisation to archaeology and locating buried metallic objects.
► We often deploy magnetic surveys in conjunction with gravity or other potential field methods.
► In data processing and interpretation, we use the software suite Oasis Montaj and modelling software GM-SYS.
